I have my first of many tutorials on the way... I've got the images, the video clips and the sounds... but my video editing software is shit, I'm going to try something out... but hopefully I'll have something for the kyoman late tomorrow early wednesday.

I've made a Rocket Launcher tutorial demo file. It covers rocket jumps, rocket boosts and rocket flying along with a section on early detonation of rockets for maximum damage to the enemy.

Good work AceOfThumbs. This demo will definitely be helpful to new (even experienced) players. Unfortunately, the text would be too hard to read if it were to be posted in kyoman... BUT... it brings up the point that we need a section with demo tutorials.

Probably 2 of here make a nex-boost video together ... like shooting someone from one base to another at ctf_facingworlds, what can't ba done with "ordinary" rocketjump - thx to defender anubis :|

Nex boost is a cool team idea. I checked the weapon data and the force and damage is about the same as a rocket boost.
Nex: 140 damage, 800 force, Rocket: 130 damage, 800 force

An odd coincidence is that I got an accidental nex boost on facing worlds last night. Oblivion sniped me as I was stealing the flag, but I had nearly 200 in armor and full health, so it just launched me to safety. I didn't think about setting up a nex boost on purpose though.

I had some trouble converting the Nexuiz AVI into a format that I could edit on a Mac. I finally got it, but somehow lost the sound. I'll see if I can work out the sound problem the next time.
