I'm going on a nexuiz adventure. i'm removing all my colors and special characters from the shaggy part of my name. Everytime I feel I've improved I add one color back. Once all my colors are back I slowly start re adding my special characters.

Once my name is back to normal I should be a better nexuiz player.

As I get better, my colors come back. Colors don't make me get better, achieving them does.

I'll go with this:
It's like scouts (not that I have done it).
You get badges and the more badges you get the better your status.

My status in this case is my skill.

I've been doing this as well, by using nicknames (pavs and pavlers) instead of my real name until my skills improve :)
