joystick

I can't get my joystick to work right with this game. The axises are reversed or something and there are no settings to configure movement and aiming in nexuiz. Anybody know?

There are settings, just not in the menu as basicly noone uses a joystick so the settings in the menu would only take away space for other settings. If i remember correctly the joy_ ones are used in nexuiz.exe and the others in all the sdl versions..

i don't understand how to use that list. where to i put that info. in?

Its just a list of config options you can use in the ingame console.. you can open it with shift-escape (while the menu is visible) or otherwise with tilde.. if you type the name and a new value afterwards the setting gets changed. other then that, i NEVER used a joystick to play an shooter.. honestly using a mouse and keyboard will be much better..

i only want to use the joystick for my view, not for movement. should i set everything else to 0? And i can't get those values to work in the "in game console". It just says unknown command
