RE: Teaching map ideas
This is great. I love where you went with this and I can really see this being a smash hit. The screenshots look amazing. I tried it out and unfortunately a lot of textures didn't load. I got a lot of errors too. This happened on both my laptop and desktop. MooKow had the same problem.
Inspire your neighbor, they'll inspire you back.:( Also, maybe MooKow and you can collaborate ideas on this? The blend of the two would be magnificent. Once I get some things sorted out we can get this in a repository. Sven Wrote:Thats bad! Ok, what -z- said about collaborating, I love the idea! Actually, I would love to use your "outside arena" for the Putting it all Together lesson. I also admire the idea of Beginner and Advanced rooms! A small little update to all: I plan to be adding a target practice area and such to thedojo |

RE: Teaching map ideas
Well. I thought I'd put some add input
GT Goals:In a training map, I'd really love to see: 1. A little room for single weapon fighting 2. A Long room to work on speed http://pics.nexuizninjaz.com/files/aflieltmtz8dvgz1ceyw.jpg - Become a stronger clan, speed and skill. - Be a part of the community. |

RE: Teaching map ideas
Sorry, I didn't reply here sooner Sven. I think you have a good start here. You did some nice modeling work to match the photo of the dojo.
So much to do, so little time to do it
The latest version of Moo's map has your outside area as a room, so I guess you are combining the maps which is cool. Thanks for your work on this. Shaggy, you should post your speed room idea on the other map thread and add some more detail about what you mean. I remember in your class you had a really nice demonstration of lasering off a corner. Here is the other map thread: http://www.nexuizninjaz.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=375&page=last |
